Only about 500 cases of this unique Premier Cru red Burgundy were produced in the outstanding 2005 vintage. This is an estate bottled wine from the Domaine Gagey, now controlled by Louis Jadot. The Clos des Guettes is a small parcel within the Aux Guettes vineyard high on the slope with good southern exposure. Aged in oak barrels for 12-15 months this 100% Pinot Noir is a full bodied wine with rich red berry and spice flavors and aromas supported by firm acidity and sturdy tannins.
