Sauvion Rose d'Anjou 2011

Winemaker's Notes:

Made of Sauvignon Blanc, Quincy is similar in style to Sancerre (now quite a bit north of $20). The 2011 "Les Glaneuses" is very dry with a refreshing, mouthwatering bite. There is a strong sense of minerality to this Loire white as well as some citrus and a medium body. Nice.

Very nice French Rose. Light, crisp and dry with some strawberry cream, a little bit of bright cherry and a touch of lime on the finish.

New Zealand wine . Not extremely sweet. Smells like flowers or rose petals . Refreshing cold. Slightly dry with a lightly bitter finish.
