What to Expect

Sauvignon Blanc is a refreshingly crisp white wine that offers citrus and tropical fruit flavors with very aromatic notes of green chilies, grass, herbs, asparagus and gooseberries commonly contributing to the bouquet. Sauvignon Blanc is generally unaoked allowing the fruit to shine and highlighting the delicacy of the grape.

Quince and honeysuckle notes add to the more typical grassy notes though this smells somewhat soapy and artificial. A little sweet on entry then bright acids float atop the somewhat sweet and rather subtle base of grapefruit and unripe strawberry tinged fruit. Turns a bit bitter and almost metallic on the back end before finishing on a harsh, bitter note. 75pts
