- Healthy crimson. Sweet and relatively simple but much bigger and more bumptious than the 1997 and certainly than the 1999. Very lively and youthful. Lots of extremely dry tannins and quite a bit of acidity. Tealeaf flavours. Sweet. Seems much more youthful than the 1999.
