Sarget de Gruard Larose St. Julien 2006
The 2nd wine of Gruaud Larose, and it shows much of the rich complexity and elegance of the top tier wines from St. Julien. "A little earthy, with berry and plum character on the nose and palate. Medium-bodied, with a delicate finish. Little chewy. Best after 2010." -Wine Spectator

A Bordeaux Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2006 Sarget de Gruaud Larose 750ml
Absolutely wonderful aromas of flowers, currants and citrus with a center core of fruit that tastes of crushed raspberries and a finish that goes on an on. This classic wine is made from a blend of all 5 Bordeaux varietals: 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc, 4% Petit Verdot and 2% Malbec. The wine has a brilliant ruby color, with noticeable oak on the nose, and notes of almond and cherry. Nicely softened tannins and hints of spice.
