Wine Spectator ReviewDried cherry and earth, with a hint of vanilla. Medium- to full-bodied and tasty. This has a very good density and lots of vanilla oak character. Needs time to come together. Best after 2009.Wine Tasting NotesThe wine has a purple color with garnet rim; intense, very complex bouquet with strong notes of raisins and prunes and hints of vanilla, cinnamon and cherry brandy; full, generous and very firm flavor with an elegant, lingering finish of fruit and spices. It is already well developed, but can keep more than ten years. This is a modern version of Amarone; richer in fruit, it takes less time to reach optimum balance for drinking enjoyment.
