What to Expect

Vermentino, also known as Rolle in France, commonly comes from the island of Sardinia off the coast of Italy, where it produces light white wines redolent of lemon and lime leaves with an almost salty mineral twang.

Winemakers Notes

Sardinia's best known white, this golden coloured, dry wine is herbal and aromatic, displaying light almond flavours and a fresh well balanced finish. It is an ideal match with seafood dishes, antipasti or as an aperitif. Try it with one of the following: fried fish with Moroccan-style herb sauce, poached salmon fillets with dill creme fraiche or tatsoi and warm scallop salad with spicy pecan praline.
