What to Expect

Cabenet Sauvignon: Originally of French origins, this versatile grape produces exceptional wines around the globe. It's usually medium to full bodied with a fine structure that supports black and red fruit flavors with typical notes of olive, chili and herbs that add complexity.

Winemakers Notes

`Ripe and concentrated with a broad swath of macerated currant fig paste espresso loam and black licorice notes all carried by dense but integrated tannins. The finish lets sage and mint notes chime in.`~(WS)

Reviews

A blend of 93% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot and2% Cabernet Franc. Intense ruby red in color. Red and black fruits combine with tar and menthol undertones, together with vanilla and toast undertones from oak maturation. Concentrated, great body and structure with ripe tannins and a lingering finish. Outstanding with grilled meats, beef or venisonin a rich red wine reduction sauce.

Interesting - incredible nose - very earthy - barnyard like in a good way , initial smell of heavy fruits like plums and deep black cherry - dry, smooth, lingering finish - for certain needs time to decant - it has been over an hour and it is getting better - very smooth - will come back and update when some time has gone by - we have another bottle and I will decant it for some time before drinking - this is meant to drink on the colder side - getting much better in
hour 2 - decant and wait at least 2 hours - refrigerate and leave out till you like the temp - it is now about 4 hours decanted and chilled - this is read more...
