- Well concentrated, made with fully-ripened berries. The tannins are fine with a long finish; much fruit. It must be drunk within the next 3 years. This is a very good wine to drink everyday and it is not very expensive.

- Santa Marta is quite dark and it extols sweet aromas of overripe grapes and some vanillin coming from the barriques. It is medium-bodied with immediate fruit sensations; a little sweet but not too much. It has a velvety texture, a long finish on fruit and vanillin, and can be cellared for 4 years but drinks well now. Ideal with pastas, salads, red meats, charcuterie, and cheeses.
