Color, nice clean very appealing. Nose, some apricot, peaches, nice, a little (very little) hint of earthiness, lemon peel, fresh, smooth. Midpalate, lime and lemon, crisp, light, some peaches. Finish, a little bit hallow, not really lasting that long, but still crisp and somehow pleasant. Overall, this wine is very well know, balanced, nice by the pool, summer times- like. I am 87 on this effort. Happy drinking!
Santa Margherita's Pinot Grigio is a joyful, playful kick. It's like sharing time with a close friend who makes you laugh - sophisticated but a little bit naughty. The first time I tasted this delightful crisp, fruity, clean white wine I wasn't sure what to expect. The sharp but exquisite bite tickled my palette, opened up the sinuses, and got me a bit dizzy - all in one sip! Whoa - this was definitely some "happy juice" to be shared with friends and those you love! Serve it with appetizers, the main meal, or with chocolate covered strawberries. You just can't go wrong serving this bottle of wine! And if you want to tell someone that you relish the idea of spending some time together, bring a bottle of this Pinot Grigio when you're invited to dinner. Santa Margherita hit a home run with this one!

A Pinot Gris wine from Trentino Alto Adige in Italy. 2009 Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio 750ml
This bestselling Pinot Grigio is the envy of other Grigio producers and often takes a beating back in Italy. Truth is, the wine lives up to expectations: It is informal, easy-to-drink, food-friendly and uncomplicated. Typical of the variety, with contrasting green notes and sweet honey.
Bright, clean and crisp, this one-of-a-kind Pinot Grigio is sure to impress the most finicky of crowds. Notes of mineral, apple and citrus play nicely against firm acidity. Excellent as an aperitif, ideal accompaniment to seafood salads and fish.
Santa Margherita has quickly become the favorite Pinot Grigio in America, and with good reason. Displaying much more complexity than most, this Pinot Grigio lingers endlessly on the palate.
Pretty fragrances and freshness characterize this popular Pinot Grigio with aromas of stone fruit, acacia flower and honeydew melon. Itrsquo;s a simple, easy wine with a thin consistency but those floral aromas help make it stand out in a crowd.
A scent of white flowers and the smokiness of the lees enhance this winersquo;s varietal character. Itrsquo;s round, with the richness of fresh creamery butter. Chill a bottle for veal scaloppini with sage.
Americarsquo;s most recognized brand of Pinot Grigio is crisply focused this year, with almond paste and ripe apple aromas backed by fresh apple and pear flavors. Clean and citrusy on the finish.
This dry white wine has a straw yellow color. Its clean, intense aroma and bone-dry taste (with an appealing flavor of Golden Delicious apples) make Santa Margherita’s Pinot Grigio a wine of great personality and versatility. Winemakers Notes
