Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio Alto Adige 2008
eh, I just could not get into this bottle. One of the few bottles that I did not finish, I just poured the rest into the large bottle I keep on the side for cooking with.
I really enjoyed this wine. I tried it at an Italian place with grilled chicken. I had to buy a bottle before returning home.
This is a refreshing wine but to me it is thin & watery.

Shows some delicate citrus and mineral flavors, but overall this white is light and simple. Drink now.
An aristocrat among Pinot Grigio with a bouquet of orange blossom and almond. Soft, creamy and refined with flavors of apples and cinnamon. A world-class wine that deserves its reputation.
Acknowledged as the aristocrat among Northeastern Italy's ubiquitous varietal, it tantalizes with aromas of citrus blossom and almond, is elegant and mouth-filling and finishes with balanced acidity and a lasting and generous aftertaste. Great with fish or pasta with walnut sauce.
America's most recognized brand of Pinot Grigio is crisply focused this year, with almond paste and ripe apple aromas backed by fresh apple and pear flavors. Clean and citrusy on the finish.
A very good Pinot Grigio. Delicate aromas of pear, apples and cinnamon follow through to a medium-bodied palate with good acidity and a spicy aftertaste.
