- Crisp and refreshing with a delicate balance of melons and apples. One of my favorite whites.

- I'm a wine newbie. Thus I only have the experience of a few months since gaining a taste for wine. So far I have gravitated toward the smooth tannin white wines, Pinot Grigios and other similar whites. To date the Santa Margherita has far surpassed any wine I've tasted. It's just absolutely delicious. It's easy on the mouth but has hidden depth and complexity. Then trails off and finishes like a white feather landing on a pillow. Can't recommend it highly enough.

- Unbeatable Pinot, particularly in this range. It's the Bob Marley of whites... perhaps not always on the tip of your tongue when talking Pinot, but when you put it on the table it's always a hit! Pleasant and delicious.

- This is generally more than I like to spend for a pinot grigio, but it's always delicious and more complex than many others. I haven't found a pinot grigio that I like better.
