Santa Julia Torrontes White Argentina Mendoza 2006

Member Review by palthainon:

tastes like it has brandy with half the consistency. 12.5abv doesn't justify this level of filth.

Bodega Santa Julia:
Santa Julia is a label offshoot of Familia Zuccardi wines from Mendoza, Argentina. The wine is named after Julia Zuccardi, daughter of chief winemaker José Alberto Zuccardi. The wines are organic (although not certified under US law) and handmade, with close attention to detail. This is an affordable range of dry and sparkling wines as well as a late harvest Torontes/Viognier blend called simply “Tardio.”
