Santa Julia Reserve Mountain Blend 2013

External Review by The Wine Buyer:

Flavors of dark red fruits, stewed berries and cobbler, backed up by a touch of vanilla. Spice lingers in the elegant finish.

Bodega Santa Julia:
Santa Julia is a label offshoot of Familia Zuccardi wines from Mendoza, Argentina. The wine is named after Julia Zuccardi, daughter of chief winemaker José Alberto Zuccardi. The wines are organic (although not certified under US law) and handmade, with close attention to detail. This is an affordable range of dry and sparkling wines as well as a late harvest Torontes/Viognier blend called simply “Tardio.”
