Santa Julia Pinot Grigio 2012

Winemaker's Notes:

"Yellow colour with green tones. Very Delicate. Ripe fruit aromas such as pears, apple, melon and some tropical notes of tropical fruit like pineapples and banana. Good balance, nice acidity. Long and fresh finish." -Producer

Bodega Santa Julia:
Santa Julia is a label offshoot of Familia Zuccardi wines from Mendoza, Argentina. The wine is named after Julia Zuccardi, daughter of chief winemaker José Alberto Zuccardi. The wines are organic (although not certified under US law) and handmade, with close attention to detail. This is an affordable range of dry and sparkling wines as well as a late harvest Torontes/Viognier blend called simply “Tardio.”
Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
