Santa Julia Organic Cabernet 2010

Winemaker's Notes:

For almost 40 years, Familia Zuccardi has produced wines of exceptional quality and value from the soils of Maipu and Santa Rosa. Every wine at Familia Zuccardi is from estate grown, hand picked fruit and is estate produced. In total, there are nearly 1200 acres of noble grapes under cultivation. Youthful, fresh and juicy with cassis and tobacco flavours, good purity of blackcurrant fruit.

Bodega Santa Julia:
Santa Julia is a label offshoot of Familia Zuccardi wines from Mendoza, Argentina. The wine is named after Julia Zuccardi, daughter of chief winemaker José Alberto Zuccardi. The wines are organic (although not certified under US law) and handmade, with close attention to detail. This is an affordable range of dry and sparkling wines as well as a late harvest Torontes/Viognier blend called simply “Tardio.”

Good for the price, easy drinking, not acidic. No real back bone millennial wine for sure.
