Santa Julia Malbec Organica Mendoza 2013

External Review by We Speak Wine:

Violet-intense purple, concentrated and birght. A complex nose with varietals notes of ripe fruits, figs. prunes, jam and raisins. A good body, with sweet tannins and well balanced by acidity. A lingering and complex finish. - Winery

Bodega Santa Julia:
Santa Julia is a label offshoot of Familia Zuccardi wines from Mendoza, Argentina. The wine is named after Julia Zuccardi, daughter of chief winemaker José Alberto Zuccardi. The wines are organic (although not certified under US law) and handmade, with close attention to detail. This is an affordable range of dry and sparkling wines as well as a late harvest Torontes/Viognier blend called simply “Tardio.”
