Santa Julia Malbec Mendoza 2016

Editorial Review by Snooth Editorial:

Light, cherry aromas with sun drenched earth. Lightly spiced and fresh flavors of mixed berry, cranberry and cherry on the palate with a finish of tart fresh fruit flavor. Pleasing and easy drinking.

Bodega Santa Julia:
Santa Julia is a label offshoot of Familia Zuccardi wines from Mendoza, Argentina. The wine is named after Julia Zuccardi, daughter of chief winemaker José Alberto Zuccardi. The wines are organic (although not certified under US law) and handmade, with close attention to detail. This is an affordable range of dry and sparkling wines as well as a late harvest Torontes/Viognier blend called simply “Tardio.”

Aroma und Geschmack sind geprägt von lebhaftem Beerencharakter mit Kirschen und Muskatnuss. Ein gut ausgewogener, mittelstarker Wein.
