Santa Julia Malbec 2003

Member Review by cfc84:

A "cheap" wine, became one of the best i've tasted, after all of those years. Truly Santa Julia knows how to make a good malbec, and with 7 years ahead this wine was truly a good surprise for my taste, smooth, softly, but tasty at same time... recommended!

Bodega Santa Julia:
Santa Julia is a label offshoot of Familia Zuccardi wines from Mendoza, Argentina. The wine is named after Julia Zuccardi, daughter of chief winemaker José Alberto Zuccardi. The wines are organic (although not certified under US law) and handmade, with close attention to detail. This is an affordable range of dry and sparkling wines as well as a late harvest Torontes/Viognier blend called simply “Tardio.”
