Santa Julia Chardonnay Reserva Valle de Uco 2015

Editorial Review by Snooth Editorial:

Nicely yeasty aromas of green apple, lemon and pineapple. Austere peach and grapefruit flavors, full in the mouth with acidity and steely notes of lemon and lime with just a touch of tart cheese curd lactic acid on the finish.

Bodega Santa Julia:
Santa Julia is a label offshoot of Familia Zuccardi wines from Mendoza, Argentina. The wine is named after Julia Zuccardi, daughter of chief winemaker José Alberto Zuccardi. The wines are organic (although not certified under US law) and handmade, with close attention to detail. This is an affordable range of dry and sparkling wines as well as a late harvest Torontes/Viognier blend called simply “Tardio.”
