Bodega Santa Julia:
Santa Julia is a label offshoot of Familia Zuccardi wines from Mendoza, Argentina. The wine is named after Julia Zuccardi, daughter of chief winemaker José Alberto Zuccardi. The wines are organic (although not certified under US law) and handmade, with close attention to detail. This is an affordable range of dry and sparkling wines as well as a late harvest Torontes/Viognier blend called simply “Tardio.”

First of a flight of Argentinians. Smells lightly of apricot. Not flavorful at all. Had an earthy mineral taste to it that I did not enjoy. Flat wine. Not a hint of Chardonnay.
