Santa Julia is a label offshoot of Familia Zuccardi wines from Mendoza, Argentina. The wine is named after Julia Zuccardi, daughter of chief winemaker José Alberto Zuccardi. The wines are organic (although not certified under US law) and handmade, with close attention to detail. This is an affordable range of dry and sparkling wines as well as a late harvest Torontes/Viognier blend called simply “Tardio.”
Surprisingly decent for the price point. Well balanced
External Reviews for Santa Julia Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve
The Santa Julia Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva 2010 is dark ruby in color with complex aromas of ripe fruits such as cherries and plums along with vanilla, leather, tobacco and spices. Full-bodied with sweet tannins, this rich red wine has good balance and a long finish.
