Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

Flinty nose of blueberries. Its a very fruity wine, thats balanced by a lot of acidity - this comes across as tart cherries and raspberries, with just a hint of earthiness. The fruit and the acids are extremely vibrant, and the acids come across as prickly. Its, nice, bold and fruity, but a little one dimensional. Finish is on fruits, but a little sweeter after the acid fades away.

This is terrific Pinot Noir: gorgeous garnet hue; effulgent aromas of cherry, leather, underbrush; sweet, full and long on the tongue, with a persistence of red currant and autumnal flavors belying its cost; can't-see-'em tannins end a silky, luxurious texture. Delicious on its own, but would perfect a meal of roast chicken, roast pork or anything that uses mushrooms, especially meaty ones.
