Santa Cecilia 2008 - 91 points, Wine Enthusiast/ Dark and brooding, Santa Cecilia opens with a medley of licorice, dark spice, blackberry, currant, almond and soft shadings of dusty minerals. The complexity is there and the mouthfeel is equally tight, tonic, firm and clean.

Santa Cecilia 2006 - 92 points JamesSuckling.com/ This is so fresh and delicate with stewed cherries and blueberries and chalk. Full and velvety with a light jammy character and a long finish. Delicious now.

Santa Cecilia 2007 - 93 points JamesSuckling.com/ A wine with wonderful aromas of mint and dark fruit. No character of stewed fruits. Full and super well-integrated with gorgeous fruit and a long finish. Slightly austerity gives it tension and structure. A joy to taste.

/ A superb Nero d'Avola. Dark ruby in color, it has a savory nose of dark cherries, plum, leather and a touch of herbs. On the palate it displays tart black fruit with notes of clove, pepper and oak, silky mouth feel and a long elegant finish.
