Santa Alicia Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon 2010

External Review by Premium Wine & Spirits:

From an intriguing aroma of black tea, this cabernet moves toward ripe red fruit flavors — strawberries and sweet raspberries — that charm with their depth. It finishes on a soft, smoky touch that lasts. This is delicate enough to drink with smoked ham.

Meaty, herbal aromas are savory and suggest baked black fruits. The palate is short in the middle and scratchy, but lively as far as Cabernet goes. Herbal red plum, cassis and mint flavors lead to a finish with good feel and flow.
