The color of this wine is a deep purple at the center, easing to a bright ruby along the edges. The nose is quite interesting, with aromas of ripe plum and blackberry intermingled with oak, spice and a grassy smell that creates an odd complexity. The taste is quite fruit forward, with ripe berry flavors that quickly give way to some tar, tobacco and spice midpalate. The finish of this full bodied wine is quite lush, with firm tannins providing just the right bit of tartness to balance the full mouthfeel. This is a very nice Cabernet that will likely not benefit from much more age, and is drinking quite nicely right now. The high alcohol was immediately present on the nose. The wine is pale ruby and translucent. The wine’s nose shows blackberry jam, licorice, and black pepper. On the palate, there are notes of black fruit, spice, eucalyptus, and overwhelming spiciness. The alcohol felt too high and the wine generally seemed out of balance.

Kräftiges Rubinrot. Himbeerkonfitüre und frisch gepflückte Kirschen in der fruchtbetonten, offenen Nase, auch eine Spur mineralische Noten, leicht blumig. Pflaumen und Heidelbeerkompott im vollen Körper, verführerisch und sehr ausgewogen, die Frucht bleibt im Vordergrund; abgerundet durch feine Röstaromen, etwas Vanille und Milchschokolade, kompaktes Finale.

Strahlendes Rubin. Brombeeren und Pflaumen, auch etwas Lakritze und schwarze Schokolade in der Nase. Rassiger Gaumen mit einer typischen Cabernet-Aromatik, schwarze Kirschen und etwas Gewürznelke, auch Schwarztee; gut strukturiert und bestens integrierte Tannine, mittleres Finale.
