- The group I tasted this with had a mixed response to this wine. The see through red color hints at the palate of good, but light red berry fruit. The finish is ok, nothing spectacular. The reason I did not like it is because it tasted too sweet, almost artificially so. I don't mind sweet fruit flavors in a wine, but the sugary sweetness definitely turned me off.
