The grape is originally from Italy where it produces the great Brunello and Chianti. In North America it delivers a fruity wine that matures early. Aged in American oak, this wine shows aromas of berry and plum, with delicious nutty undertones. The finish is medium but dry. Best enjoyed with spicy food, it pairs well with meat and chicken. It is the perfect combination with a roasted rack of lamb.
