Five glasses

The 2008 Sandy Cove Sauvignon Blanc is a pale straw white wine from the Marlborough region of South Island in New Zealand. It has a nose that includes exotic aromas like fresh-cut grass, jalapeño peppers and citrus peel. It's taste has solid citrus flavors and a solid grassy background that makes it less aggressive, rounder and richer than most Sauvignon Blancs from this region. This wine should be paired with anything from the sea, from clams on the half-shell to cracked crab.
