Sandhill Merlot Sandhill Estate Vineyard 2009

Member Review by zufrieden:

Colour is densely red with a nose of sweet cherry and damson plum with a hint of wild meadow and garden vegetable (red beet or perhaps borscht predominates). The palate is generous with cherry cola, plum but with some coarse tannin (a tad too much fresh oak methinks). Finish is medium and quite rich for this price point. Ready for food. 85 points.
