This Sancerre definately stands out right from the bouquet and then onto the palate. Delicate floral notes on the nose follow through on the palate to reveal hints of stone fruits and an elegant minerality that lingers for a couple minutes to remind you to bring that glass up again and take another sip! - Maggie's Staff Pick100% Sauvignon Blanc from flint (silex) soils on steep hillsides. Hand harvested and fermented in stainless steel. Aged for 7 months on its fine lees with no stirring before release. Medium-bodied and oily-textured, it slithers across the palate with slate, flint, stones and hints of ripe pears. Armed with outstanding concentration, focus, and grip, this wine reveals a formidably long, pure finish.
