and Cabernet Sauvignon at 40 per cent.
Production area: a vineyard known as "del Meastro"(The Master's vineyard), as a tribute to the vine-dresser who tended to it for many yaers, and in recognition of his outstanding mastery in pruning and grafting vines. The vineyard "del Maestro" is situated on the top of a west-facing hill in the Arno valley whitin the property of the farm.
Ageing: this wine is aged partially in barriques and partially in oak casks of 20Hl capacity. After nearly a year, the wine is blended, bottled read more...and left in a dark, fresh cantina for another two years for further refinement.
Average annual production: 6.000 bottles.
Packaging: 0.75 Lt Bordolese bottle.
Organolettic Characteristic: wine of notable body and structure, harmonic with a fine persistent bouquet.
Food affinities: red meats, small game and age cheeses.
Serving temperature: 18 degrees.
