Sanfirenze is a Chianti of modern conception, obtained from a blend of 90% Sangiovese Toscano with a small addition of Merlot and Syrah.
Production area: born from recently planted vines, covering the southern hills of the farm.
Ageing: Sanfirenze is released the successive autumn following the harvest, after having passed six months in medium sized oak barrels (Hl.20) and at least three months refinement in bottles.
Average annual production: 12.000 bottles
Organolettic Characteristic: wine of good body that is well structured. Intense fruit, harmonic and persistent.
