Salton Tannat Classic Reserva Especial 2011

Editorial Review by Gregory Dal Piaz:

Funky nose, earth, balsamic, almost meaty on the nose, smelling of jerky with hints of smoke and pepper then comes wild black and gamy blueberry fruit. In the mouth this is medium full bodied, soft and rich with plenty of acidity, earthy blackberry fruit, a hint of coffee bean, some chocolate and bloody beef notes, leading to lovely rosemary and herb tones on the moderately long finish. 88pts
