- IWC 93 (12/2005): Pale straw, with gold highlights. Leesy, buttery aromas of honey, orange and toast. Toffee apple, fresh apricot and exotic papaya flavors are accented by dense truffle and smoke. Possesses a wonderfully supple texture and good heft but there's ample acidity to keep it fresh and bright. Finishes spicy, firm and long. This will age well. This cuvee is a recent disgorgement, done in May of this year.

- The House of Salon makes no other wine, only this rare vintage tête de cuvee blanc de blancs, with grapes hand-selected from Le Mesnil-sur-Oger Grand Cru vineyard in the Cote des Blancs. Since 1911, vintages have been declared no more than four times a decade. Aged en tirage for eight to ten years and hand-disgorged when a specific order is received, Salon is long and creamy in flavor, slowly revealing its wondrous and unique splendors.
