Salmon Run Chardonnay 2011

Winemaker's Notes:

Up in the northwestern part of NY State, in the Finger Lakes region, the Dr. Konstantin Frank WInery was a pioneer in succesfully growing (and making wine from) vinifera grape varities such as Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, as well as many others. The 2011 Salmon Run Chardonnay has a lovely greenish- gold color, and the floral nose displays toasty notes with good mineralty. Crisp acidity lingers on the palate through to the elegant finish.
