- Pale straw gold in colour. The nose exhibits rich intense fruit aromas of citrus, stone fruits and melon, with mealy, subtle butterscotch characters derived from the barrel fermentation and lees contact. The palate is rich and generous in flavour, driving a nutty, spicy oak quality, supported by soft acid and a long finish on the palate. While very drinkable now, the wine can be cellared with confidence for up to five years to gain further complexity. The wine should only be slightly chilled to achieve maximum appreciation.
