Saintsbury Pinot Noir Toyon Farm Carneros Saintsbury Pinot Noir Toyon Farm Carneros 2009

Winemaker's Notes:

Heady perfume of sour-cherry spiciness mixed with an under-current of herbal intrigue. The sunny but cool and breezy days of this northern coastal valley offer great acidity with a fine backbone of ripe tannins that together provide a structural core balancing the concentrated black cherry mid-palate. A delicious and definite keeper!

Saintsbury:
First published in 1920, George Saintsbury’s “Notes on a Cellar-Book” has inspired many to experiment widely and to form opinions unaffected by the fashion of the day. Included in those ranks are Mr. Ward and Mr. Graves, who named their winery in honor of Professor Saintsbury.

Marked by spicy anise, dried berry, cedar and mineral flavors that are tight and concentrated, this is medium- to full-bodied, at points dense and concentrated, even chunky, ending with a loamy earth aftertaste. Drink now through 2018. -JL Wine Spectator. A Pinot Noir wine from California in USA. 2009 Saintsbury Pinot Noir Toyon Farm 750ml
