Saintsbury Chardonnay Carneros Brown Ranch 2005

Winemaker's Notes:

Wine Spectator "Up-front ripe pear and apple flavors are pure and fleshy, ending with an aftertaste of apple blossom and spice. Delicate and creamy-textured"

Saintsbury:
First published in 1920, George Saintsbury’s “Notes on a Cellar-Book” has inspired many to experiment widely and to form opinions unaffected by the fashion of the day. Included in those ranks are Mr. Ward and Mr. Graves, who named their winery in honor of Professor Saintsbury.

Wine Tasting NotesThe Chardonnay unites brilliant flavors with just the right structure and palate-feel. The flavors are classic citrus and pear - concentrated and focused nicely in the mid-palate. It has terrific length, is fully flavored, and finishes crisply.
