Food Pairings for Saint Cosme Little James Basket Press
Great color, nice lemony yellow. The nose is amazing - floral, peaches, citrus and it goes for a while. As a take big sip, the acid hits well but not to point that I like for a white. I still get peaches and tropical fruit with the taste. The body is somewhat medium with a medium alcohol. I was excited about it all but not the finish - falls somewhat flat. For the price though, worth a taste. I hear their 100% grenache wine is worth a try. - Latin Lovin' Eatin' Grubbin' http://latinlovineatingrubbin.com
The spirit of this wine is to be very simple and uncomplicated and inexpensive, but to give a great deal of pleasure. The wine is very spicy, with loads of sweet fruit and liquorice, and is perfect with simple meals.
