tangy citrus burst with a clean steely finish. if you could package the initial moment where a grapefruit spoon digs into the grapefruit (splash and all) it would taste like this.

Personally I think this is the perfect white for summer get-togethers. Most people love the wine - Its sweet and easy to drink for the occasional wine-drinker, and refined enough for the more experienced wine-lovers.

Tinged by the taste of artificial sweetner, but not completely undrinkable. Tolerable if you're only have 1 glass.

Very, very good. Pale almost translucent in color. Aromas of grapefruit, fresh cut grass, and a zing of lemon zest. Palate of citrus, with a grapefruity finish, and also herbal and mineral notes.

GOLD Medal Royal Easter Show Wine Awards 2011 Neal and Judy Ibbotson were pioneers in the Marlborough wine industry, first planting vineyards in the valley in 1978 and then establishing Saint Clair Estate in 1994. They own 100 hectares of vineyards in six different Marlborough locations chosen specifically for the attributes of their individual locations and ability to produce top quality grapes. Neal Ibbotson combines his extensive viticultural expertise with the talent of one of New Zealand’s leading winemaking teams, led by Matt Thomson and Hamish Clark From 1994 when wines from the first vintage all won medals including gold, the name Saint Clair has been synonymous with quality and its award-winning record continues today. Grapes : 100% Sauvignon Blanc Region : New Zealand / Marlborough Maker : Matt Thomson Notes : A full, crisp and powerful wine showing intense flavours of passionfruit and blackcurrant, with underlying gooseberry tones. This wine has a full yet elegant palate with subtle minerality. Well balanced acidity provides a long, lingering finish. Serve : This delicious white wine is an ideal match with antipasto, grilled seasonal vegetables or fresh seafood. ABV : 12.5%

Lively green apple, passion fruit and lime peel flavors are bright, vivid and very refreshing. At once smooth and extremely juicy, with plenty of charm and aromatics. Drink now.-MW Wine Spectator. Grapes were transported to the winery with haste and pressed off immediately to minimise skin contact and juice deterioration. After settling, the juice from each batch was fermented using a variety of selected yeast in 100 per cent stainless steel at cool temperatures to retain fruit flavour and freshness. Each batch was assessed for quality and only the best components were selected for their potential to add to the overall quality and complexity of the final wine. Once blended the resulting wine was then carefully prepared for bottling. Vintage: 2009 Grapes: 100% Sauvignon Blanc Wine Maker: Matt Thomson Aroma: Intense and powerful aromas of blackcurrant, passionfruit, grapefruit and gooseberry leap out of the glass.
