Add your reviewBright purple in the glass. Nose of blue and blackberries with tones of tea. Wonderful bright fruit with an almost lambrusco-like zing. Some citrus tones on the finish. Not a long lasting wine. After some time open, it really got some more depth and a fair amount of complexity with some almost merlot-like qualities. Very nice. This one might age a bit!
A beautiful expression of Brouilly. Started out a bit tight but as we got to the end of the bottle it showed great bright berry fruit nicely balanced with great acid on the finish. Getting you ready for the next bite of grilled pork.
Excellent Beaujolais. Nuances of blackberry and other smooth flavors are subtle. My fiancee and I generally like pleasant wines, and this is one. It will go well at our wedding and should please really everyone. One of the most versatile reds I've tasted. I have a feeling that this innocent and excellent wine may not satisfy long-time aficionados, because it's flavors are very well balanced and mellow. But we like this wine (and many Washington/Oregon wines) for this reason.

Dieser Saint-Amour aus dem sensationellen Jahrgang 2009 besticht mit seiner dunkel-granatroten Robe. Charmant und doch Konzentriert mit gut eingebunden Tanninen präsentiert er sich. Kräftige Aromen von roten Früchten, Brombeeren, Veilchen, Kräuter und Sauerkirsche umschmeicheln die Nase. Am Gaumen wirkt er opulent mit langem aromatischem und harmonischem Finale. Ein Wein, der viel Vergnügen bereitet aus dem oft unterschätzten Beaujolais.
