A dark red / purple wine, full bodied, juicy & vibrant with black & red currant flavours. Very tasty. Not tannic, but would maybe develop in the cellar for a couple of years or so. Lacks a certain personality to be able to be rated as a fine wine (ie 4 stars+). We paid £8 and that is very good value.
