Ripe, but not overly so, the 2008 Dry Creek Zinfandel is a deep, very well-focused wine that keys on dark fruit. Flavors of blackberry and plum dominate the palate with notes of dry spice lending a little more range to the release. Well integrated tannins, typical of classic Dry Creek Zinfandels, add to the long finish.
