Aus der autochthonen Sagrantinotraube entstand dieser monumentale Wein. Die späte Lese hat konzentrierte, ganz reife Trauben in den Keller gebracht, kraftvoll, schwer und gut strukturiert, kräftige Statur mit viel Potential für weitere Reife. Für den Sagrantino ist eine Mindestreife von 30 Monaten vorgeschrieben, mindestens 12 Monate davon muss er im Holzfass verbingen.
