Safari Pecorino Terre di Chieti

Winemaker's Notes:

Vinicola Bove was first established in 1930 and has recently undergone massive modernization including the installation of a high-tech bottling plant. Dott. Vittorio Festa is now the oenologist in charge; a winemaker dedicated to the highest quality wines from very small yields, which is very apparent in all of the wines from this estate. Pecorino is a native grape to the Abruzzo region and is rarely seen outside of the area which is an injustice as this white wine deserves pride of place on any patio! Vintage: 2009 Grapes: Pecorino Region: Abruzzo, Italy Notes: Fresh and clean with hints of exotic fruits such as kiwi and peach leaving a pure and refreshing aftertaste of fresh citrus fruits Serve: Light pasta, fresh fish and other light seafood ABV: 11%
