Sacchetto Pinot Grigio 2009

External Review by Great Wines Direct:

Clean and fresh with balanced fruit and acidity and a hint of spice on the finish. This is a wine to be consumed throughout the meal, especially indicated for appetizers, soups, fish and white meats. The Cielo familys winemaking roots can be traced back to the 1500s. However the modern story of Cielo really began in 1908 when Giovanni founded the winery in the small village of Montorso Vicentino situated in the Colli Berici and Lissini area of the Veneto. The new winery that is today equipped with the most modern technology has been granted the ISO 9002 certificate of quality. Cielos wines are exported to all major countries of the world. Incredible Value for money and outstanding wines. Vintage: 2009 Grapes: 100% Pinot Grigio Harvest: 3rd week of September Vinification: Soft pressing of the grapes. Fermentation in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. Presentation: In a clear glass Bordeaux bottle. Serve: Chilled at 8-10C as an aperitif or to accompany fish soups, grilled fish, seafood, dishes based on mushrooms and oriental food. Taste: A delightful, dry white wine with a fresh, fruit driven flavour and mineral characters, with a round and softly spicy flavour.

Clean and fresh with balanced fruit and acidity and a hint of spice on the finish. This is a wine to be consumed throughout the meal, especially indicated for appetizers, soups, fish and white meats. However the "modern" story of Cielo really began in 1908 when Giovanni founded the winery in the small village of Montorso Vicentino situated in the Colli Berici and Lissini area of the Veneto. This hilly area lies between the extensive plains of the Veneto and the lower Alps. In 1963 the nephews of the original founder entered the company and built a new winery that is today equipped with the most modern technology and has been granted the ISO 9002 certificate of quality. Cielo has formed an alliance with the Cantine dei Colli Berici, thus making it one of the largest wine producing companies in Italy with over 3,000 hectares of vineyards. This merger has enabled Cielo ...

Weingut: SacchettoRegion: VenetienRebsorte: Pinot GrigioAlkoholgehalt: 12 Vol.%Empfohlene Serviertemperatur: 8 - 10°CLagerfähigkeit: 1 - 2 Jahre ab JahrgangFassreife: Ausbau in Stahltanks Suche nach Rebsorten > Weiße Rebsorten > Pinot Grigio

Weingut: SacchettoLand: ItalienRegion: VenetienRebsorte: Pinot GrigioAlkoholgehalt: 12 Vol.%Empfohlene Serviertemperatur: 8 - 10°CLagerfähigkeit: 1 - 2 Jahre ab JahrgangFassreife: Ausbau in Stahltanks Suche nach Rebsorten > Weiße Rebsorten > Pinot Grigio
