Very fine and focused on the nose with notes of apple butter, pear and lime leaf over gently nutty and toasty oak with vanilla and floral highlights. Lightweight, clean and fresh in the mouth with lovely lemon juice acidity driving right through the palate here. The flavors of apple, smoked nuts and pithy lime are clear and vivid in the mouth, fading rather quickly on the modest finish. Zesty and fun to drink with a light and savory heirloom apple note developing with air. The finish fleshes out with additional air, so this might need a little time to show it's best. 88pts Acidity: Medium Perceived Sweetness: Low Oak: Medium Low Spicy Flavors: Medium Low Savory Flavors: Medium Fruity Flavors: Medium High Intensity of Flavor: Medium Weight in Mouth: Medium

Fresh on the nose with classic toasty oak, coconut, pineapple and lime aromas accented with a touch of nectarine and some popcorn. Soft and slightly sweet on entry, this shows some early caramel flavors layered over ripe pineapple fruit with vanilla top notes. A bit ponderous in the mouth, it nonetheless delivers fairly classic rendition of creamy Napa Chardonnay. The finish is clean and bright though the oak is a touch aggressive here. Definitely not my style, but this should please many people. 85pts

Oaky and tropical on the nose with some nice overtones of ripe melon. Medium body, sprite acidity with some light butterscotch. A nice white pizza wine!

Nice Napa chard, pretty much down the middle with a nice balance of fruit, oak, butter, acidity.

A sweet Chardonnay with a bit of honeysuckle and pineapple flavors. Rich without being overly oak/buttery. A nicely drinking wine. Very enjoyable.

This is a full bodied chardonnay, with a wonderful balance. It starts with apricot and honey, then apple, then finishes with a tiny hint of vanilla. Just enough oak flavor, not too much. Perfect by itself or with a nice fish.

The 2009 Chardonnay offers up aromas of nectarines, orange blossoms and white peaches. It is a naked, medium-bodied, fresh, lively Chardonnay to drink over the next 1andndash;2 years. This is another excellent value winery offering low-priced, tantalizing red and whites.

Made in an oaky, creamy style to appeal to popular tastes, this Chardonnay has jammy pineapple flavors. Itandrsquo;s brisk in acidity and is somewhat simple, but the price isnandrsquo;t bad.

There are 16,000 cases of this spectacular bargain in Chardonnay. This 2007 from, of all places, Napa Valley, is a beautifully fruited wine (orange blossoms, nectarines, poached pears, and a hint of pineapples) revealing little oak, medium body, zesty freshness, and gorgeously pure fruit. This dry, delicious 100% Chardonnay is best consumed over the next 1ndash;2 years.

A terrific bargain in Chardonnay is the 2005 from Rutherford Ranch. Aromas of apple skins, white peaches, pears, and lemon zest emerge from this well-made, fresh white. Consume this beauty over the next 12ndash;18 months.
