Ruta 22 Malbec Patagonia 2009
For a Malbec this was nice. Not too sweet, so make sure your in the mood for an earthy and tart wine. It has a good amount of tannins, so be ready for a hearty acidic punch.Add winemaker's notes

This wine, unlike most, tastes best when first poured. Fruity with very soft - perhaps too soft - tannins. Nice lingering finish.Very good for the price.
Recommended by the man at the spirits store. Very pleased with the taste...fruity, intense, not too dry, not too sweet. 14.5% alcohol. Great with a good steak off the grill!
smoky and tasty
This was a great fruit wine!
I had this recently in a Restaurant. Hadn't had it before. Liked it very much. Very rich, fruity and dark and smooth. I'm surprised at the price here. I paid $14 a glass in the restaurant! Loved it though. Will buy it often.

Produced in the cool, dry hills of the Patagonia region of Argentina, this intensely colored red is complex with prominent berry flavors. An ideal wine to serve with beef, lamb, and winter stews.
