Reviews

Nice sauvignon blanc (80%) and chardonnay blend (20%), that has creamy apple, grapefruit, and light pineapple flavors. The chardonnay imparts a roundness and mellows the acidity of the wine, making it poised stylistically between a fume blanc and a California chard. Zesty finish.

The nose starts off pure Sauvignon Blanc with vivacious grapefruit and mineral components. After a few minutes, more citrus and lemon grass aromatics develop along with a swirl of vanilla cream. The citrus scents translate into full citrus flavors with a refreshing "zing"; almost a touch of pine that later opens into a creamy pine-nut like texture on the mid-palate. This mid-palate creaminess is quickly followed by a clean, lingering and mineral finish, making this a perfect summer refresher. Our 2005 Estate Sauvignon Blanc is our first Bordeaux-Graves style Sauvignon Blanc, read more...
